WHY YOU NEED CARDIO EXERCISE

Cardio exercises are high intensity exercises that has the heart pumping at a very fast rate. Cardio ensures the body is fit in a number of ways. Whether you want to lose weight, burn fat, stay healthy, or even all three, cardio is the way to go. 300 minutes of cardio is recommended every week to burn fats and calories.

You don't need a gym to carry out cardio exercises. There are some of them that can be done in the comfort of your home such as skipping, jumping jack, Burpees, squat challenges, etc. Outdoor, cardio includes cycling, swimming, dancing and at the gym your popular treadmill is good for cardio. Know also that lifting of weights etc are not considered cardio but strength enhancing exercises.

The health benefits of cardio exercises are limitless and even better, is the fact that you can get them done from the comfort of your home.

Before starting a cardio exercise, try some warm and after a cardio exercise, do some stretches. These are very important.
