Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog at this hour. It's with great pleasure that I welcome you to my blog. Please, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

It does not matter whether you work full time or part time (freelance) you always have to meet up with deadlines. Deadlines are unavoidable because they are necessary to ensuring that projects are finish as at when due. A deadline is a specific time and date that a project should be completed or halfway done. Deadlines are the possible time that your boss or supervisor or even yourself expect that you are done with a particular task and it has been turned in for assessment.

It is important to keep up with deadlines. It is your responsibility to have completed and turned in the task assigned to you on or before the deadline. Deadlines are chosen or assigned to ensure that a project is rounded up at a particular time, failure to redeem it at the end of the dealdline due to negligence or unseriousness of one or more of the team members may lead to the goals being forfeited.

There are some methodologies that have been tested and proven to help in meeting deadlines all across the world in various fields, careers and so on.

The first thing to bear in mind is understanding the goal you want to achieve. There is a difference between completing on time and completing the correct way. You may complete on time and not deliver what is expected by your boss, supervisor or clients. Hence, the need to sit and understand the goal you want to achieve. You could make it easier for yourself by asking questions when you don't understand certain things.

In order to meet your deadlines you need to create a checklist of all the procedures and steps you need to take to complete your assignment. The checklist must be specific and not too vague. It serves as a guide to keep you in check and aware of what you are doing. You're more motivated when you see how far you've gone on your checklist.

Guess what? What if you give yourself a deadline different from that of your boss or client? This is another way to meet deadlines quicker and efficiently. Pick a day or two before the actual deadline given to you and work towards it. It gives you rest of mind and more time to proofread and ensure there are no errors.

I'd continue in my next post. So, stay connected and await the concluding chapter.
