Living in Nigeria would open your eyes to many things and one if Which is voodoo(juju). As they say 'life is spiritual' right? . if you've had an experience with African voodoo before then you'll get to really understand the level of spirituality of life.

In June or July 2019. I arrived very happy at work and as young bakers learning under our boss, we really went on errands and on this blessed day David was sent.
An hour had passed and David was yet to from his errand which was very unusual and we bacame all worried.
Two hours later David showed up with tears and confusion in his eyes ' They took everything away, they took everything away' he said. We were all confused and perplexed so my boss asked that he was given some water so he could relax.
' You people should really be careful around here o' he began after some minutes. We asked about what had happened and he told us how he was stopped on the high way by a man In his mid thirties asking for directions which he gave. After the directions were given, the man called him back and started narrating some very untrue stories of how he met a prophet and how he's certain about the genuineness of the prophet because the so called prophet had told him exactly what his problems were. He then asked David to accompany him to meet the prophet so if he's lucky he might get a breakthrough too. At that time David wasn't aware of the fact that he was hypnotized

They met the prophet and David was asked to drop all his belongings which included a wallet, phone and wristwatch so he could start a spiritual journey that would cleanse all the evil in his llife

The prophet ( leader) told him that if he wants to be successful and prosperous he needs to pay attention and do exactly as he was told. 'Walk in a straight line in-between those poles without turning back and when you get to the fifth pole, stand there and say whatever you want for 5 minutes then come back here' the prophet said.
David started the so called spiritual journey and when he got to the third pole his senses came back and then he realized what had happened to him but it was too late they already left. He searched the whole area and didn't see them so he had to come back to the bakery empty. No money, no phone, no wallet, nothing.

Later that night I sat and I thought about what had happened earlier and I realized that the experience wasn't just traumatic but it was lesson filled. The 'do not talk to strangers ' lesson my mum always gave us and I also believed that African voodoo aka JUJU existed.
