World of immorality

I realized, I was dead when I saw picture of my bodies on tv. it was dawned on me that I have been killed, and I have been dead for a while. I didn't realize this earlier, probably because I thought that I was held captive.

Now my name is Joyce, and before this disastrous event, i had gained admission into University of Nigeria, nsukka.

I come from a low class family, so I had to share a room in odim street with two girls amarachi and teni who had just gain admission in same school. Like most girls of my age did, I joined social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to connect with people in the school, so that I can be updated in my studies.

I returned home from my studies which was Africa music lectures one evening, so after bathing and eating, I logged in to the Facebook and I saw a friend request and it has to be chima Obioma. I usually go to people's wallpaper before I accept you as a friend so I checked few of his post, it was impressing and cool, he was very handsome and he's rich, so I chatted with him and he became my friends.
So I related with him very well, me and him do chat everytime , and we do discuss about everything, I do tell him things about my school and my friend's , and it's so be funny at times, amarachi and teni do ask me why am I smiling with my phone, I will always lie to them that is just a comedy.

One day I came back home from school and I saw chima sitting with amarachi and teni , cooking in our small kitchen. I was shocked and I couldn't understand what he was doing in our lodge, and he also look more stunned as he saw me there. So after the initial astonishment we sat down to reason ourselves together. And amarachi told me that chima Obioma is her distant cousin who dropped bye to see her since he was passing through the school , so I was surprised, so I decided to tell her everything about us, the way I chatted with him on Facebook, she was shocked. We talk for a long time, and he's was about going because of time. But before he left he gave me the sum of 50000, so after then, our friendship was getting stronger. The was no day he doesn't call to check up if am okay.

As the day rolled by, I noticed I was gradually falling in love with chima, the way my body felt giddy why speaking with him made me know that I was gone for him, and so was he, so one night when we were talking in the phone he confess his feeling for me.
Joyce the way you make me feel no other woman has made me feel that way, that was the word he use, and he asked me to date him and I agree, so we met at one restaurant in our school ground,so we get to know each other there and we ate and drank some drinks. Then he drove me to the lodge and left to his home.

That same night he was calling me and texting me message, and we get knowing each other more closer. Then he invited me to his house, but I don't think visiting him was a good idea, he kept begging me to come to his house so that we would spend our holiday together, but I told him that my parents won't allow me to come, but he kept begging me, so I told my friends amarachi and teni about it, amarachi has me to go that he trusts his brother not to do anything malicious to me, teni told me not to visit him because I don't know him well.
So when teni left, amarachi showed me, the chat between teni and chima, and I saw when teni was asking chima to date her instead of me and amarachi told me teni didn't want me to tangle with him, that she wants him for herself. I finally decided to go.

My school will be closing on December. So instead of me to spend my two weeks holiday with my family I told them that I will spend my holiday with my room mate, I told them that I will use the two weeks to read ahead, so that should not bother them wasting transport since the holiday is a short one.

So after the last exam chima drove to my lodge and pick me up to his house, I was marveled when I saw his house, he's house was a huge mansion I couldn't believe that the house was his own. So he took me inside the house and introduce me to some of the workers there and I was glad. The first night was fantastic and superb,he treated me well to a dinner with bitter leaf soup and fruit juice and I felt rested and relax , and it wasn't long I began to feel dizzy. So literally couldn't sit up, and he carried me to his room and I slept in a comfortable bed , and the last thing I remembered was a red cotton and a red knife .

I woke up later feeling tired and unconscious than I have been defo. So I got up from a slab in a strange look, and in a strange room, so I made my way down stairs I saw chima men, and when I queried about chima, he didn't pay attention to me , he acted acceive he wasn't there. I assume maybe he was deef,
So I waited for chima cook to come, and she did, when I asked her about chima she acted acceive am not even there , things became scary for me and I screamed at her but she was still doing her job, so I tried to grab her my hands pass through her tiny body and I realized that she was a ghost same to the security man . And that was why probably the couldn't see me.

In fear I rush to the main door and I found out that I couldn't open the door or passed through no matter how I tried, I rush back to the room in terror to search for a device so that I can call chima but I couldn't find any, so I stayed in the room till dawn and I swear to stay in the room till chima come back, before the ghost in his house harm me.

I was in the house last nght and I saw the security men with bloody red bag out of the compound I assume the are all ghost who were doing the last thing they did before the died . A moment I heard chima voice specking with amarachi and teni and I was like "thanks God". And I breathe in and as I ran dawn stairs to meet him. They were all seated in chima sitting room eating prepared chicken and I was shocked, and when I set my eyes on the television , the we're watching a news of how a body of a young girl was found in a gutter close to the market her body was bloody, and the cut her breast and private parts and that girl was me .

I realized that I have been killed it turns to me that it was me that is the ghost in the house, I finally realized that it was I who was dead and not the workers, I finally understand why I couldn't get out of the house because I was trapped in it , and I realized that it was my body that does men moved earlier.

From the date of the news it means that I have been dead for two weeks. I realized that amarachi, chima and teni from the day the send me the friend request , they all know that amarachi and chima alone cannot convince me, so teni send messages to chima so that it will appear as if she is taking chima away from me , even teni was advising me not to go to chima house was also back stabbing me. I realized that I have been played that I have been use for money ritual and I was kill by chima and my room mate, with fright I also realized that my ghost will be trapped there forever.
