Accha Chiang mai Indian food!

Hello, Blurt! If you're in Chiang Mai and would want some spicy, colorful Indian food, I have the perfect restaurant for you: Accha Authentic Indian Cuisine. This location is awesome.

Our friends strongly suggest this tiny Indian haven in the Nimman area, and as an added benefit, it's close to our own company, The Spot cannabis dispensary (and we all know how amazing Indian cuisine can taste after a visit to The Spot 😂

Let's go to the food festival now. Let's go right to the important part!

Let's start with the yellow rice. In a way, it resembles a law. This recipe is just a bed of long grain rice with herbs lightly brushed on top. These days, if I go to an Indian restaurant, I almost always order this.

We chose the Mixed Raita to counteract the well-known richness of Indian food.

After a mouthful that is high in oil, raita, a chilled, creamy, yogurt-based side dish that frequently combines chopped fruits and vegetables, is the ideal palate cleanser.

Is accha's raita? Very excellent.

Next, we made the risky decision to order the vindaloo after being seduced by the menu's scary chili emoji. Was it lava in motion? Maybe not, but the flavor of the rich, herby curry with the spicy intensity was pretty pleasant. It may be spicier. Yes, but only if you have dragon ancestry.

My actual favorite part of this dinner, though, wasn't on the menu; it was on the house instead. The complementary chutney variety, that is! This isn't something every Indian restaurant in the area does, but Accha does it and does it well. They sent us six varieties of chutney—yes, six—each with a special flavor and a clear instruction on how to enjoy them. We had red onion chutney, which is my particular favorite, as well as green, mango, tamarind, and mango pickles and schezwan. It was a taste explosion, the ideal palate cleanser, and I'm all over this assortment of zesty, sweet, spicy, and acidic chutneys!
