It seems the dead are now more celebrated than the living.
Some people don’t care about the welfare of the living. The person will be hungry, or sick or suffering... The rich family members and relatives will suddenly become too poor or too busy to offer help, but feel compelled to spend money on funerals and memorialization ceremonies once the person dies. This is not only wasteful, for me I think it is just a function of ignorance and lack of wisdom.
Burying the dead has become more expensive than caring for the living. Can't we care more for people when they are alive?
Talking about death...I'll use the opportunity to ask this question:
What happens after death?
Some say that our souls go straight to heaven or hell, while others believe they continue to exist. And some even claim we become new beings somewhere else - either another planet or another dimension...
How would you feel if you died today and found out tomorrow that you wouldn't be able to see, hear or touch anyone ever again? Would you be upset? Would you be scared?
There is no definitive answer as to where the soul goes after death. It’s pretty much a mystery. However, science has been able to come up with some theories and explain the possible existence of other dimensions and parallel universes.

It is so sad that people no longer show care or support to their friends, families or neighbour. They are only interested in splashing money during people's burial.
I have witnessed a lot of this in my community. Parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, will be starving in the rural area, while their son, daughter, brother or relative is in the city living an extravagant life. And will never lift a finger to support people at home. But when they die, they will buy expensive coffin, and throw the best burial ceremony in town.
Its not care or respect for the dead, it's nothing more than ignorance and show off.
Spot on! You're right about everything you said and it is saddening that this same thing is repeating itself in this era.
It's rapidly becoming a norm in my society.
