Yesterday around 5pm we converged to church for the second edition of celebrating children's day, sunday school teachers organize a music concert for the Sunday school children in my church Lutheran Church of Christ mwesere koti district.
And children train so hard to performed wonderful in front of there parents.
So they are up to 8 groups and every groups trained hard for the day, yesterday but parents and children we just converge to church to witness and enjoy watching those children's performing.
And the first group enter and sing a nice song and all of the parents and some children that are present there start clapping there hands for the wonderful performance and those children feels good and feels honored.
So also the second group enter and they try there best and performed wanderfully also and we clap for them.
All the remaining groups enter and do there best and honestly the programmed was one of the best yesterday and as we are watching those children's performing there is our Ward councilor there we don't know so the officiating minister that will bring the sermon yesterday says the ward councillor is among us and all of us there we are amaze and he says he should give the councilor few minutes before he will proceed may be he has something to say.
So the ward councilor colleted the Mike and he started by greeting us and he says being in the house of the Lord there is full of joy and blessings and you will forgot all your sorrows he continue by saying since he came his mind is at peace and he says may God continue to bless this children and keep them safe what they have do today it was amazing is like is not children they performed wonderful and he is well please and he was very entertained he says this is how we are going to celebrate childrens day every year and he is beging the church elders to make it like that for the children every year is very important and childrens they will feel honored and he hope we will give our maximum support as we parents to make sure that children's in our community they keep on displaying their talents.
Finally he donate 50thousands naira for the children's that performed in that concert he says he was really entertained and people really clap for him for his wonderful support.
He gave the Mike back to the person who is about to give us the sermon.
So the man continue with his sermon and he spend like 45minutes and he stops and says is night already and the Sundays school teachers says they will come and announce the the winer's that emerge as first, second, and third on Sunday meaning tomorrow during Sunday school hours and one of the teachers says the closing prayer and we left the church back to our houses.
