In 2014 I was in Burkina Faso doing some investigations into the the potential for some tourist trips there. I spent about 5 days in Ouagadougo zooming around the city on motor bike and to a few museums surounding the city in the bush. I will make some posts on that in the future.
After my stay in Ouaga I went with a tour company for a motor bike trip that they do, but I went in on of the chase vehicles. The people on the trip went the whole way on motor bike through the bush.
This took us south from Ouaga to near the border of Ghana to Nazinga Game Ranch. Then to another village which is a painted village.
On our drive south on the main highway from Ouaga to Ghana we stopped briefly at a small town. The clouds were looking dark. And as we sat there the plastic bags started blowing into the air and people running around.
There was a truck of onions ont he road opposite us. The guys were scrambling to get a tarp over the cargo.
They managed to get it covered before the rain started to fall.
Most of the street had cleared and people had found cover by the time the rain came.
We got back on the road about the it really started to pour. The road cuts through a national park and I drifted off for a nap. Not long after the driver alerted me to some elephants who crossed the road. This is a horrible picture from a moving car but you can barely see the backside of an elephant in the trees.
Voted! Blurt Better :-)
