She came through with hopes
Very beautiful and bright
Her fathers fought gallantly
To make her see the light
But she caught trapped in ropes
She got entangled so tight
Encaged extremely blatantly
Till she lost all her might
Now soiled are her robes
Deprived of her very right
Bought over with envelopes
Left lonely to face her plight
Right now she is going the slopes
Daytime is turning into night
With corruption, Nigeria is done
Sadly, she is totally gone
