I'm much aware that there's no living who disagrees on the existence of a Supreme Being who creates and controls all that is created. To much of my knowledge all believes that there's God and those who do not believe still acknowledge that there is a power in charge of the events of life and all the stories that comes with believing and not believing in God. Whether one believe in God or not God still reigns Supreme and his glory can never be shared with another.
The window of the body, guide it.
The ears as well as the eyes are windows through which information gets to our brains and a such one ought to filter what goes into his/her to avoid population. A lot of garbages are there looking at us some are well packaged that you need to be very careful to espy which is good for your consumption and which to repudiate as the unhealthy ones get more acceptance very quickly.
The bigger question is, how do one figure out what is good and healthy for consumption. And the simplest way to figure out what is the best is to weigh such on the scale of spirituality and morality standards if it falls short, then such a thing is not good and healthy don't take it.
What is the standard of living.
The word of God is the standard of living. The word of God is contained in the various holy scriptures like the holy bible and the holy Quran. These two holy books contains sound moral standard which helps to maintain peace and harmony among neighbors. But where the problem is on the interpretation of the verses of the written word. Because of some odd interpretation of some scriptural verses divisions and sects came up and all claims to be the best. This madness of wrong or poor interpretation of the words as it's written in the holy scriptures had put the world in big troubles.
Poor and wrong interpretations had made brothers to separate, put wars among nations. In a multi religious group like Nigeria, a Muslim would see a Christian as an unbeliever and the the Christian would in turn sees the Muslim as a sinner who is far God. What do we speak of the African Traditional worshippers the others sees them as the devil himself yet they all call on same supreme Being to attend to their prayers. With this, one could conclude that religion and religious teachings is the major challenge the world is facing. Why can't tolerance for one and be the messages.
I don't care about what religion one adopts all I look forward to is seeing fruits which is geared towards building good neighborliness, love for one another, respect for others. Having a clear conscience for one other not defrauding the innocent people. @chibuzorwisdom who out of his clear mind trying to help a brother got scammed by unknowingly. Those who did this evil are also religious, they go to their different worship centers probably carry the bible or the Quran yet still remain scammers. Morally and spiritually connected people won't want to cheat nor do any harm to anyone knowing that we're one people under one father God.
The understanding that morality and spirituality is the best way to go becomes a turning point for all. This would bring joy, peace and harmony in the world we live but people preferred to be religious rather than being moral and spiritual. A spiritual minded person wants to do the right thing always not minding the consequences. The world is more interested in your religion rather than in your spirituality. You went for job interview you're asked of your religion. You travelling to the country your religion is asked for everywhere religious sentiments. And I see cases where someone is not qualified for a job but because the manager is of the same religion or of the same denomination, he gets the job and the most qualified person go home crying.
