We live in a society that always cut men off easily. They cut men some slacks but they would not extend the same courtesy to the women. Everything is the women's fault because the men are seen in a certain way. We are the ones responsible for most of these problems because we easily give excuses for what a man did but seem to castigate the woman.
A woman cheats and the whole world is on her neck but when a man did the same, we simply give excuses for them that it's their nature. When a man is seen with multiple ladies when they visit, he is hailed as "a man" but when the table is flipped over, the lady gets all sorts of names even when she has done nothing wrong.
I don't know the world has changed underneath our noses but we are focused on many other things without noticing. The moment we keep giving excuses for others while castigating another side, we are deferring problems. This is why we keep having several movements here and there because the balance of scale tilted to one side more than the other. If we fail to admit this, we are all hypocrites and it's high time we start addressing it and stop giving excuses for the actions of men. It's high time we hold them to the moral high standards that we are holding the female.
When a lady gets raped it's always about what she wore or how she enticed the man. What about having our men disciplined by teaching them self control while letting them know that their actions cannot be excused away anymore.
The situation with rape and everything keeps getting worse because they know the society would always give reasons for their lack of self-control rather than seek justice for the victims. It's high time we do better because we also have children and we wouldn't want them to be at the receiving end of the standards we have dropped.
We need to do right, now for the sake of generations to come. It's not getting easier anymore and the more we delay, the more problems we are creating for the generation yet unborn and we are to make their lives better off not make them worse.
Cheers.
Gingered Up! ❣️
Not at all. In fact it's the other way around.
I have something for you to dwell on: Women can rape as well. They can rape men and other women.
At least if the rape law was gender neutral. Which in most countries it is not. Try reading the rape law of your country and consider the following: Would a women putting a knife at a man throat and tell him to get it hard be considered rape under the law of your country?
What about a woman forcing herself on another women? Lesbians are pretty pushy.
I guess you didn't read other instances I mentioned and this isn't about just the rape. Women rape too, I know that for sure. I've seen women also perpetuate domestic violence. If you live in my country, then you would understand the things I cited above.
