There is more to possibility than mindset.

The fear of impossibility is not a terrible thing, the idea builds up as a result of setting bigger targets or having more expectations than we can handle. I see this as a normal feeling but allowing it to dominate your thoughts is what I don't find okay because it automatically steals from you the energy or motivation to press further with that thing you find impossible.

A lot of things are not possible and I find it annoying to see motivational speakers driving people crazy with the idea that nothing is impossible if you set your heart to it, there are lots of impossible things that eventually will turn into a waste of your resources if you don't desist from trying to accomplish them.

Imagine me joining a contest where we have to pull a truck and I am still struggling to lift a 100kg, how will putting my heart into it help me pull a truck that weighs over 5 tonnes?

Some things are just impossible and the earlier we realize it, the better for us. It would save us going through wasting efforts and aside from the completely impossible things, there is more than just a mindset required to turn impossibility into possibility because having the proper mindset won't just do it all. Although, the process begins with having a proper mindset but that wouldn't even take you half of the journey between impossibility and possibility.

What are your chances?

This is the first thing to consider when embarking on the journey of possibility, you don't just think it is possible and dive into the struggle with zero chances of getting results, you must be at least 50% sure of what you are getting into.

My chances of pulling the truck are zero why do I have to do it at all when I know there is no success in the end.

Did I hear someone say with faith all things are possible? If faith is enough then half of the world should be successful in each of their dealings today.

Calculating your chances of achieving success is important and when it is low there is no reason to waste your resources all in the name of faith or following the words of a motivational speaker.

You must have practically examined your chances and it would be wrong to compare this isn't about risk-taking.

Risk tasking is having what it takes but you are sure of the final result, while not having what it takes before embarking on the journey of turning impossibility into possibility is not risk-taking.

Use a scenario where you need to cross a river that has crocodiles, the chances of swimming through it are zero because you are completely exposed, would you refer to that as risk tasking?

That's complete foolishness, calculating your chances first will tell you that you don't have what it takes to accomplish it but in a situation where you have a canoe, the chances are different. It might still be dangerous but you know you are protected to an extent, having a weapon in a canoe to defend yourself takes your chances of turning impossibility into the possibility to the next level. If you your chances are zero then don't bother trying to do what's impossible, it might end in regret.

When your chances are zero, you have nothing to prove to anyone but if you have nothing to lose then go have fun trying.

There is more to success than having just the mindset of a successful person.

Every success comes with hard work and sacrifices, having a successful mindset without these things is a complete waste of time. After calculating your chances of success, you will need to put in hard work to make the impossibility possible.

I remembered when my team sales target was increased at work, it was impossible at first. We all murmured, complained, and persuaded our boss but nothing changed. A thirty percent increase in target is a lot when it comes to sales jobs but we got extra resources to accomplish this mission, we thought it is impossible because we weren't ready to do it.

We eventually admitted the fact that there was no turning back, it is either we do it or face the fire. We inspired ourselves that it was possible and changed a lot of things in the team which worked out.

Every member of the team had to double their efforts, I started leaving homing earlier just to cover more areas for sales and we did it but...

The process between impossibility and possibility requires time.

The but I didn't mention earlier is time, the process sometimes takes more time than expected.

We couldn't achieve that figure until after three months of hard and smart work, you must be prepared to endure and sacrifice lots of time committing yourself to that impossibility you want to make possible.

Faith is not useless, it works when you have invested what's necessary. Even the Bible says work and pray, if you haven't worked then there is no point applying faith and stop making it look like God doesn't answer prayers, have you don't what's requested of you?
