If you've been fascinated by the growth of bitcoins over the past few years... ...I'm sure you're also curious about where bitcoins can go. Most people may think that its all "fugezi fugazi"- random, volatile or unpredictable, but there are signs which look positive!
Recent news said that Starbucks, Microsoft & New York stock exchange owner will together be building a platform to take bitcoin to mass adoption which means, very soon, you'll be able to buy your morning coffee with bitcoins. I mean seriously, these companies & people aren't stupid. They know stuff.
For a lot of 3rd world countries, bitcoin isn't an investment, but it has become a source of survival. Countries like Iran where the inflation rate is so high that it is almost bankrupt, are using bitcoins as an instrument to control inflation.
Close to $2.5BN worth of bitcoins were bought from Iran in just a short period of time last year.
Bitcoin's market cap is similar to that of giant companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon etc. and for bitcoin & crypto, it is just the beginning of the beginning, it's just scratching the surface.
People have made hundreds of millions of dollars with bitcoin and here's the good news: Someday, people will be writing similar emails & blogs about basic Income tokens, when they become a cryptocurrency! There's something really really exciting about getting on the ground floor of an opportunity.
