Hello my blurt colleagues, and I hope you guys are doing great.
Today I will be sharing a story on my last NYSC national sanitation exercise.
The Director-General of NYSC had declared a national sanitation exercise which all corp members are expected to clean up a particular community in their local government of primary assignment. I am serving in Nonwa community in Tai local government, Rivers State and Kpite and Kira community under the same Tai local government was chosen as the host communities for the sanitation. The Paramount rulers of Kpite and Kira communities welcomed and entertained us after which we launched the sanitation exercise. In the course of the sanitation exercise, we cleaned up gutters, markets square and roads, giving the community a new look. You need to see the joy on the faces of the community people. We also sensitized them on the need to keep their environment and the health dangers of dirty environment.
After the exercise, the paramount rulers of Kpite hosted us in his palace for vote of thanks refreshment.
