“Our task was to hike a 30+ mile trail while allowing ourselves to feel inspired, innovative, and challenged. Goal achieved! Many students tackled this challenge seamlessly and positively. We encouraged each other to keep moving forward and most importantly to stay hydrated! While walking this trail, a recurring theme found within the group was vulnerability.”

“ With Professor Hayagreeva Rao, we learned about testing both the body and the mind and how vulnerability can play a huge role in someone’s character. We saw each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities. We empathized with each other and reached the top together."

"The best part of this whole experience was witnessing an incredible view with incredible people around you who all shared the same journey ” Adriana Valdivia

“Even though it was difficult and long for many of us, on one side, I appreciated the team spirit of uplifting, supporting, and encouraging each other " No man behind." On the other hand, I enjoyed the views and breathtaking landscapes."

"This journey connected all of us, learning how to persist in challenging circumstances and trust each other throughout the process.” Leila Kadouri
