First of all, I will like to congratulate those who made the required cut-off mark (160 as of last year) and for those who couldn't make it congratulations too; you can do better next year. Step up your game next time.

Now, those who scored 160 and above stands a chance of gaining admission into this great institute of learning but it is not a basis to succeed in this school.

This post is specially for those who are aspiring to study any Engineering course, Architecture and probably Micro Biology.

If you score within 160-180 don't even bother going to any of the above listed departments. Someone might ask why?

MOST TIMES your 100L result is a reflection of your JAMB score. Last session, the rate of failure in 100L was very high. One amongst the reasons is the cut off mark that was set at 180 before was reduced to 160; most of the students admitted were not academically sound to cope with stress and everything that accompanying the University system. Most of them will need a session or two to get themselves on track and there's a possibility that most of them will still not scale through 100L. Some might change department then repeat a year and some may repeat even in 100L.

If your score is good but not that very good just look for a department you must have heard is easy and apply. Don't because of some reasons choose department that is difficult. Maximize JAMB change of course period and do the needful now.

Personally any student who scored 160 in JAMB did so poorly, averagely 180 and 220 and above you really tried.

Don't let anyone deceive you!
If you can't score 180 and above in JAMB there's high possibility you will fail woefully in your first year. Maybe you don't know; your first year result is the foundation on which every other CGPA is built on. Why wait till when you fail before you do the needful? DO IT NOW!

Need any advice?
