I brought this wonderful hairy wasp (Latin Scolia hirta) home. Moreover, she was very active, since it was still day. But in the darkness of the room, she soon calmed down. I released it to crawl along the branch, which I secured with my holder. And I got a few photos when she froze for a while, apparently trying to sleep. Magnification is about 1.5: 1.
