Hello 2020,
2020! What have you given us but a stay at home spare tire potbelly and a year of reruns? The things we have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving are quiet times of quarantine, overloaded internet and online classes that brought our families together.
For average families living together this year basically sucked lemons. Most of the world is still stuck at home and where are we? That’s a good question. Has anything good come out of this sucky year?
Where are all those books I promised to write? Have I learned anything new or just wasted hundreds of hours watching 1980s reruns?
Personally this sucky year has taught me to treasure the relationships I have with people more than any skill or opportunity. Although I have been able to learn some new software and find some time for painting the biggest growth I’ve had in 2020 is with spending time with family.
I’ve come to learn things about my children I never would have known if they were not staying at home. This too sucks, but that’s life. We must continue to suck up those lemons and grow. Ah, bitter!!
For a romantic end to the last months of 2020 I am creating this collegiate USUCK 2020 design. U Suck 2020 Collegiate is a tribute to this year in review. You suck 2020. I’m glad it is almost over. The elections suck and online school sucks, but this design doesn’t suck.
