Learning About Blurt One Day at a Time!

Hi, people of Blurt!

Today, I want to share something about the Blurt platform, well it's basic and you all know it already for sure but I will go on an share it anyway. I actually like the idea that there are transaction fees here in Blurt. They are very minimal but it definitely adds value to everything you do here. Anyway, I did the math, if we have people helping us, voting out posts and we have the power to curate and we do so diligently everyday, we actually earn more than we spend even if we engage a lot around here.

I am glad they reset the follower and following counter on our profiles, unlike in the old platform Steemit that we had thousands of them but then we never even get half of the expected engagements, much more support in votes or even just resteems when we do good with out posts. The follower and following did not do much as a value, it was just there just because you can have it. It did not translate to anything at all. It did not guarantee anything and it really was nothing, just numbers.

Here in Blurt, you pay to follow a person and I like that. Paying for someone worthy, someone whom you think their posts will entertain you or something worth reading, something worth being on your feed. Just like ADS in Youtube or in many websites, they pay for visibility. Now, here you pay to see people you think who are worthy to be on your feed, know what I mean?

I realized, I will follow back all my followers because if they have that trust on me that I deserve to be on their feed then that is something. I do not know any person here, personally, and it is an honor for me that someone wants to connect to me and possibly support me. That is something. I do not say others should do the same but this is my take on this and I have nothing against it being paid at all. It's a positive thing for me.

For those who plan to follow me, you are all welcome and expect me to follow back. I am willing to connect and engage with you all and hopefully we can cooperation and support in projects and just about anything here. Let us make this a better platform than we first found it, you know. Improve in all the ways so we all benefit from that. I am hoping Blurt is long-term and will actually fly to the moon!
