Parting is such sweet sorrow, especially parting with the @pappa-pepper family! What great neighbors they have been!

The Festival May Be Over, But the Adventure Continues On!

It's Friday, so not only are we packing up camp, but we're also getting ready for Shabbat. The plan is to pack everything down, pack it up in the trailer, drive to the @dwells family's homestead and set up camp again!

image.png
We began by packing up the kitchen area. We put the log/chairs for the next camping experience!

image.png
We were given a scented candle as a gift, it seemed to attract visitors to our camp... and it smelled nice.

image.png
Stacked everything up neatly to pack up.

The girls dismantled our camp fire.

image.png
They also rolled up the tarp. They are getting more and more useful!

Moving the Trailer

I went back to the car and was surprised to see two little ones (of mine) drawing and writing in the dust on the car!

image.png

I brought the trailer back to the campsite to begin loading up. Looks a little messy, but we're getting there!

After some diligence, we packed up the trailer nice and tight. Now it looks good!

Now that's not going anywhere.

Arriving at the Wells Homestead

It was a bout a 45 minute drive to our destination. We get there and immediately begin setting up camp, it'll be dark in a few hours.

Were you back there the whole time???

What a fun ride daddy! No, she didn't ride in the trailer, she was safe in her car seat.

We Felt At Home!

We were greeted by @dwells and @essentialoilmom when we arrived and we were invited inside for a visit. We saw the most amazing door post we'd ever seen! It had the commandments of YHVH written there!

Lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house. Deuteronomy 11:18-20

Setting Up Camp

We just packed this tent up, now we're setting it up again. The ground is much more level here.

Daniel was happy playing with trucks that he found!

While we were setting up, I saw something crawling along the road. Tarantula!

Tent is All Set Up!

It took some doing, but we managed to get everything set up while the sun is still shining.

Beautiful Scenery here!

The Sabbath!!!

While we were setting up camp, our hosts were preparing for Shabbat. And they prepared a beautiful table and dinner!

As the sun was setting @dwells blew the shofar!

We All Gathered Around the Dinner Table

It was one of the highlights of our entire Arkansas adventure - eating a meal indoors with the bread and wine and good friends.

Shabbat Shalom!

Conclusion

These days go by so quickly, we have one last day in Arkansas to enjoy, and then it's time to pack up and return to normal life back in Michigan.

Thank you for reviewing these days with us!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
