Let's build an un-official etiquette guide for TOGETHER

The mission

With the aid of the community we will build the first etiquette guide built for blurt by blurt users. What gets included will be decided by the community throught first open discussions and vote on the best detail for every criteria.

It will be comprehensive and we must also build summeries for every catagory that must be discussed and included.

We will then build the unofficial-official etiquette guide and the drafts that come with it. After more criticism and editing we will eventually build the official unofficial official etiquette guide. Maybe then, one day it will be "The one" that everyone can agree on to be the best etiquette guide for blurt that best benifits blurt.

A seperate blank post will be published after this one with payout declined. It will be titled "The Unofficial Guide To Blurt" under construction. I will cover the costs to edit and re edit and reedit as many times as necessary. Other seperate posts will be made to decide changes.

We will do this slow. One post per topic at a time. We will together pick the best one. This includes but limited to:

  • deciding the name of the title
  • the markdown code to be used
  • the length for each paragraph
  • the details to include
  • the rules section
  • a help section
  • how to behave
  • how not to behave
  • examples where needed
  • images to use
  • and much more

Every point and so on will be talked about.

I invite everyone, including the haters, to have open discussions here and give your two cents.

Now...

Where do we start first?

What did I miss here?

Anyone can participate so that also means you can creae your own posts to discuss different topics, but please do add those links in the comments below to include it in this post as references. To serve as a go to post. Ill include everyones links to be displayed just comment your links if you like and a brief description.

I won't tag you unless you want to but be aware that every edit will send a notification notice if I do.

I want to see this to be a long guide, with as many parts as necessary to complete it.
The best part is that this will be your own doing. After we have created what we believe to be the best, we shall then propose it to be included in the FAQ but ONLY after it is "finished".

After it is finished and added, we can still make proposals to modify accordingly when needed. Again, voted by the community at large. To agree or disagree to make amendments.

The guide will be public domain of blurt. Thus a new account like that of null account will be created for hosting the finished product.

Its private publishing key will be given to the top witnesses and an equal amount of non witnesses aka normal blurt users chosen and nominated for the task of protecting and editing any future publications and guides that we may need.

This is something that has just came to mind to me. I hope that we can build something create here together. I plead that we all keep a level cool head and just walk away and breathe and get back to what is really important and see past our differences for a while.

Cheers

No need to say hello just blurt out what you really want to include.

This is just the pre warm up.

Sort Order:

I like things as they are. However anyone wishes to present themselves is a reflection on them. I often thought that the problem with public education is instead of focusing on each persons skill set they instead seek to force everyone into the same mold (trying to force the square into the round hole).

While manners are in my opinion always preferable, if someone chooses not to use them it reflects on them more than it does the object of their focus.

The only suggestion I would have is for one to be themselves, and see what that attracts. That is how one will build a community around them.

One thing I've noticed in my years on social blockchain is there are many who post things I have zero interest in, but the comments they often leave on others posts can still be very interesting.

Best of luck in putting your guide together.

It's only a guide. I would never advocate for it to be of something of use to be forced upon any user. If it can help keep peace amongst ourselves then so be it.

Thank you for pitching in!
