Do all you devs still want to keep printing out of thin air?

Are you cabable of accepting the foundation made a mistake in starting to print BLURT out of thin air?

Can you see that scarcity of a thing makes it more valuable?

Sure it isn't the only thing that makes something valuable, but to have blurt printing an unlimited supply? Really?

Ever since this decicion was made blurt has been in price decline mode, because...

THEY want more blurt.

So logical (sarc.)

Sort Order:

Blurt, Steem, Hive - you've been on these blockchains for years and still don't know where the funds for the reward pool come from? Developers can limit inflation to zero. Then every post will earn 0 BLURT. I will say even more, developers can program "negative inflation", then every post will earn 0 BLURT and the amounts accumulated in accounts will decrease. Is this what you want?

  • There are alternatives to funding the resource pool, and it is not related to double printing blurt.

  • So more blurt for $0.00 or less blurt with an substantial increase in price?

  • Steem and hive are not being double printed. So how do they get rewards on their post still?

  • BTC is a fixed amount. Its price is through the roof compared to when it started and continues in an upward trend.

  • Fiat currency printing out of thin air, causes inflation and more debt, poorer economic structures (thus moar fiat needed today for same amount of bread as yesterday).

Banks also double print because they can keep it in circulation longer, by making more debt they get more profits. Because of more user use, more people getting loans, they get more profit off their debt, thus making people get more loans to pay off that debt and more debt later than now. But in the end it ends in them bankrupt and with nothing but not after working more for less, which is what blurt is facing right now.

Blurt, being double printed, lowers the price but hey more tokens right? Woohoo. Power up, yea! 1 million blurt at 0.00!

I definately don't approve of their printed overnight BLURT, but the inflation rate is on par with kilobyte fees.

Yes , we want all the hundred millions of blurt double printed out of scammy codes
Be burn and disappear..thats what we want.
We want the founders to revoke their rights to pay themself 9.6 Millions blurt per year just because they think they work enough for it and by revoking that self given right , Blurt can become a DECENTRALIZED platform and not a cozy jail rotten inside out in which no peace can be found because of fucking greed and lies. Thats what we want.
We want keys since it is a decentralized blockchain and witness power. Thats what we want.
Enough investors including you have seen enough of this nonsense even though you got some money back everydays from your investements.
thats the 1% of people in power.
