Hey there friend on Blurt. Today I just wanted to take a trip back to 2018, when I blogged my way across parts of Eastern Europe. One of the highlights of that trip was Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It was a lovely quaint little city. It had a warm charming feel, yet a little run down compared to it's richer neighboring countries to the west. But over all I got a real good vibe there.
The people of Bulgaria were very nice, polite, and friendly. Over all this seemed like a really nice peaceful place to live. The food was good and and affordable. Lot's of excellent meat, cheese, and wine, as you would expect in this part of the world. Also there was surprisingly pizza shops all over the city.
They would sell pizza by the slice, and my goodness, they were enormous cheesy slices for about a dollar each at the time. Maybe next summer I'll be heading back to this part of the world. It certainly has a lot to offer. I really miss Eastern Europe. Is there a part of the world that you have been missing too?
I'm amazed how most of soviet countries are similar.
Right! They all have that old soviet feel and look.
The city looks so beautiful and not dirty like Lagos😅. I will write an article about Lagos someday and I will do that with pictures
Thank you. That would be great. I'd love to see a post from you about Lagos.
Thank you!
