Yesterday I was not on foot but by bike. The weather was right and it was already pleasantly warm in the sun. Nature is slowly awakening to new life and so I decided to go first to a small lake near me.
It doesn't really look like spring yet, but in a month's time swans and Canada geese will be breeding here.
Only the coots have already left their mark.
My way then led me to the Botanical Garden, which is located in the middle of the city. There crocuses bloomed in all colors.
A whole meadow full of blooming crocuses.
In the middle of the botanical garden there is a small pond where you can hear the croaking of frogs in the summer. With luck you can also see carps swimming around.
A small water fountain already provides the necessary oxygen.
Above the small pond there is a bird aviary, which is about 10 meters long and 5 meters wide. The large parakeets there were also already in breeding mood. There are many nesting boxes that can be used.
This very old couple sat in the sun for a while before moving on holding hands. Love knows no age.
Nearby is a tropical house, but it was closed today. So I had to photograph the bananas growing there from the outside.
Unfortunately, I had forgotten to charge the camera battery and could not take any more pictures. I hope you like the report anyway. Thanks for reading.
