So here a very speculative "get rich quick" idea for you..... Find one of these coins circulating in your pocket change and youll be laughing all the way to the bank. There sre a number of coins that are currently in circulation that could bag you well over a grand with one particular 2p (£0.02) coin worth up to £1700.
Every now and again, the Royal Mint issues a limited edition coin. Whether it be to commemorate a special occasions, sporting even or life achievement of an individual, the RM continues to churn out coin after coin after coin. Dependant on circulating quantity, ascetic looks or just desirability, many of these coins tend to range in value, from just over face value to a small fortune.
However, if you are lucky enough to come across this rare find, you could be pocketing a lot more than you think!!
MULE:
In numismatics, a mule is a coin or medal minted with obverse and reverse designs not normally seen on the same piece. These can be intentional or produced by error. This type of error is highly sought after by collectors, and examples can fetch high prices.

In 1983, and after the introduction of decimalisation, back in 1971, the 2p coin had a bit of a redesign. The words "NEW pence", first introduced in 1971, was being replaced by the words "TWO pence" on all newly minted 2p coins. Unfortunately someone at the mint didnt get the memo, or just simply forgot to change over the dye on the pressing machine... A few coins dated 1983 slipped through quality control with the incorrect wording.
It pays to be vigilant and check all your old copper 2p coins. Finding this error, or MULE coin, could net you a massive returns.
