El arte de la pintura nos permite no solo dejar volar nuestra creatividad, sino que tambien podemos ser intencionales en cada obra, que bonito poder enviar un mensaje de conciencia a través del dibujo, eso es por lo cual me llamó la atención este concurso.

The art of painting allows us not only to let our creativity fly, but we can also be intentional in each work, how nice to be able to send a message of conscience through drawing, that is why this contest caught my attention.

Mi dibujo lo titulé: Abrazar la tierra, y con esto me refiero a brindarle afecto así como se lo damos a nuestros seres queridos, a las cosas que compramos, incluso a nosotros mismos. La tierra es el hogar que dios nos regaló para poder darle vida, y a ella en gran medida le debemos mucho ya que todo lo que hacemos, lo desarrollamos en este espacio.

I titled my drawing: Embrace the earth, and by this I mean giving it affection just as we give it to our loved ones, to the things we buy, even to ourselves. The earth is the home that God gave us to be able to give it life, and to a great extent we owe it a lot since everything we do is developed in this space.

Probablemente los estragos de nuestra inconsciencia ya no tengan vuelta atrás, pero estamos a una pequeña acción de retrasar la destrucción de ella y que nos dure un poquito más. Mientras estemos en ella cuidemosla, llenemosla de mimos que bastante falta le hace.

Probably the ravages of our unconsciousness can no longer be turned back, but we are one small action away from delaying its destruction and making it last a little longer. While we are in it, let's take care of it, fill it with pampering that it needs a lot.

Estamos atravesando pandemias, guerras, enfermedades, contaminación y solo nosotros somos los responsables de ello, pero también podemos hacer algo para mejorar. Enseñemos también a nuestros hijos a protegerla. recuerden que la educación empieza en casa, y debemos ser los adultos su mejor ejemplo.

Inicié realizando un boceto a lápiz el cual posteriormente, delinee con marcador verde y negro.

Posteriormente comencé a darle el toque de color, agregando verde para el cabello y las cejas y además pinté detalles como las flores.

Later I began to give it a touch of color, adding green for the hair and eyebrows and I also painted details such as the flowers.

Seguidamente continué pintando la piel de la mujer.

Then I continued painting the woman's skin.

Y por último coloreé la tierra, adicionalmente como quería que mi dibujo estuviese como en el plano exterior a la tierra hice un fondo azul como en representación del espacio.

And lastly I colored the earth, additionally as I wanted my drawing to be on the plane outside the earth I made a blue background as a representation of space.
