What are everyones thoughts on serey.io? I notice that it has downvotes but then so does steemit and since the hive cabal left I never really saw anyone use or abuse them, can't remember the last time I saw someone downvote on steemit since they left. I also notice you have to upload a passport and id picture which, might stop nefarious characters joining with a cartoon. Wondering what everyones thoughts are over there, what happens when people downvote? is anyone abusing it? It's interesting blurt is still the only niche platform to go with the no downvotes. I love it for that.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about it as part of me thinks that might repel the trolls and degenerates that go around with cartoon character profiles. But also feel wary uploading it I stopped the process at that point for the time being

But yeah down voting sucks in general to me it’s ok if it doesn’t affect your earnings like on YouTube but when one rich person can take away someone’s entire right to earn money it’s flawed majorly.

I haven't been on steemit for years... After the Justin Sun takeover, I only had about 3 cents rewards on a post and went to Hive....
I always stayed on Steemit because I knew about the cabal long before. I ended up joining both at some point because all the community went to hive so it was literally just all Chinese posts and yeah I was getting a few c I no comments but it has got better lately. I spent a bit of time getting to know the wox community, The guy that runs that has some real issues with the hive cabal and was one of the main people kind of keeping them away. His name was X pillar and although I don’t find it quite as fun as blurt it has something. I was a bit too early to realise the hive cabal for what they were unfortunately and almost all my down votes came because I also posted on Steemit or because I defended other people getting down voted but no way was I putting all my eggs in the hive basket after what I saw.

Yeah I knew back then I knew about it from 2017 and I just tried to avoid those people but they got bigger and bigger. I was actually so happy when Justin came in And did that and I thought that Steemit would finally be free but yeah everybody left and I was so disappointed because I kind of had no choice but to go over to hive if I wanted to keep any of the connections I spent the last three years building, so I ended up kind of straddling both platforms which of course didn’t go down well with the Hive crew who love a bit of down by action when they get their money stolen they don’t care when they steal yours tho….funny that huh 😂 most the people have left now though I think they got sick of the drama in hive but they didn’t make a big deal of it they just disappeared and pretended they got busy LOL
