Seeing value

I think that the worst thing is downvotes I think platforms naturally find their way with good or bad content or even junk but that a lot of ppl like to watch rly just cause it’s junk to me doesn’t mean it is to someoen else etc.

The worst thing about these platforms is downvotes as imagine you’re trying to build yourself as a travel blogger, right well, those kind of videos take expenses. The more viewers you have, and the more followers, for example, the more luxurious places you can travel and the further afield you can go and the longer you can stay etc etc , you can also pay someone to edit your videos etc , somebody making £1000 a video isn’t necessarily making £1000 a video if the expenses were £800 for example or £1000 even, but they want to build the channel and make it amazing. If somebody can take away your entire earnings in one go because they just don’t like you personally, then no one can build anything of value because you don’t know what you can put into a video prior. Of course you can get fluctuating amounts on YouTube, but you do begin to roughly know how much you are going to get from videos and how much budget you have to spend. This is why these down voting chains will never attract big bloggers because no one is going to be happy to just sit there and see if someone’s gonna take it away or not when they’ve invested money and time into videos . They only work for people that have full-time jobs and just do some kind of low value post that takes zero expense to make no one can build anything if they’re always aware of it being able to go to zero. So what these people don’t realise is sure it might not bother them because they have full-time jobs and they don’t care. They just want to make a few extra bucks for a bit of side hustle that took them a few minutes to make but they’re not going to build a platform of value in that way. Anyone really wanting to make good videos and put effort and money into them will use YouTube. I wish I had done YouTube instead tbh or certainly as well. It’s prob my biggest regret but anyways. Yoh just can’t build on a platform that thinks 80 bucks is too much for a video lol imagine on travel you can’t even get a flight to Europe rly for that. Trying to cap it like that just creates 100 percent low value and no ability to grow as a content creator.
