I don't like when people use this kind of big stake to push their opinion with threats of powering down etc it kind of sucks for everyone else. Of course it's their free right to do so but it doesn't make me think very highly of them as witnesses personally.

Yep! that's right, it's a sign of their weakness, and very detrimental to the platform.
yes I wrote this on another comment to these guys:
I think what you are forgetting here is that suddenly powering down a huge amount of blurt before the platform is built up isn't really hurting mega drive who is probably rich anyways it's hurting the average user, some of whom this platform allows them to stay above the breadline. It is everyones free choice to power up and down but as a huge stake holder it is good to take some responsibility of how that affects everyone when you do it very quickly. For a lot of people it's more than a few savings it's turned their life around, it's currently a life line for those in Ukraine who lost their homes etc
Yes, it's a shame the decisions they make, they are big whales, and of course if they take them all out at the same time it will have a huge impact on the people here, especially as you said for Blurt users who still hope and even rely heavily on Blurt for survive. Hopefully a new big Whale will come among all of us soon.
maybe it's better if lots of new people join though and that money is split between many, when one has so much impact thats not great. I'm trying to shill It on fb haha
Makes sense
if we wanted to actually be smart we could all dump and sell ours before they do then rebuy again when everyones finished dumping but i hate to join in with it all tbh.
I've chosen to keep it for now, and maybe if I can afford it for the right price I'll pick it up as soon as possible.
