Arbitrage isnt always a dirty word

I am forever looking at prices in crypto. Prices that I can take advantage of and turn a nice profit on.

Often, when you are on various exchanges you may see different prices on the same token. More expensive on one exchange and cheaper on another. Thats right, I am talking about arbitrage.

I am quite sure that most reading this will be aware of the meaning but if not...

Arbitrage means taking advantage of price differences across markets or exchanges to make a profit

You see LTC on one exchange trading at 68 dollars and on another 76, buy for 68 transfer to the next exchange and sell at the higher amount. Minus your transaction and transfer fees and you can turn a small profit.

Rinse and repeat till the prices even out.

Right now I am looking at BLURT being 19 sats on Probit and 30 sats on Ionomy. It was 34 last night. Now BLURT doesn't yet have the kind of volume on Ionomy to guarantee a sale straight off the bat but it is worth maybe buying low on Probit and putting in a few optimistic sells on Ionomy. You might just make out like a bandit.

These are the small moves that can make a man rich!

The worst that can happen. You end up with a bit more BLURT to power up and that is never a disaster.

Stay lucky and keep your eyes peeled for the arbitrage deals.

Yes. I do this between Hive-Engine and Ionomy whenever I see a big gap. Sometimes you can make a huge profit. You can also do this Between various currencies in Ionomy …. Blurt, Hive, HBD, Steem, SBD, Dtube, Dogecoin, BNB, Dtube, Ethereum, Bitcoin … sometimes people make a mistake and sell at a very low price and you can pick up something like Dogecoin or BNB for almost nothing. I try to buy a few hundred of each Crypto and wait for any big big dips …

It's the big dips that are worth the wait. I have made many a good profit on it. I will have a look again at hive-engine. I found it harder to scan for profit before at it is priced in hive which I didn't like.

But if it means a ready target then I will always be on the lookout!

Hive-engine and Ionomy are the only 2 exchanges I use to Trade.
They have everything you need.

It’s worth it to have a few thousand Hive, Steem and especially HBD to earn 20% APR in Hive Savings.

Earn 20 % APR (Passive Income) with HBD savings and over 30% APR with @upvu Delegation on Blurt and Steemit.

I almost did the upvu delegation but I don't like this party extensions on my chrome browser. I should get another laptop for it. Lol

There are quite a few Hive whales that will upvote all your Actifit posts on Hive.

I haven't heard anything good about hive so that is a surprise. Not that I believe all I hear

Well… I sure like trading my crypto on Hive-Engine and HBD (Savings) for 20% APR passive income… those 2 things alone make Hive pretty good. It would be great if Blurt had these also.

Upvu is giving 30% on steemit as well ?

I’m not sure. I sold all my Steem to buy Bitcoin a few weeks ago. I think @justyy pays better on Steemit. I’m slowly buying back some Steem to compare @upvu on Steemit .

According to my analysis, Justyy is better compared to Upvu. Upvu gives $2 for 17-18k steem power while justyy gives $2+ for 13k Steem power.

Yes … that is also what I was finding when I had 18,000 Steem delegated to justyy …

You see LTC on one exchange trading at 68 dollars and on another 76, buy for 68 transfer to the next exchange and sell at the higher amount.

Two be on the safer side sometimes it is better to have assets on both the exchanges.

For example i have a lite coin on 1 exchange and have $80 on other exchange. I can sell Litecoin and buy it on the other exchange and vice versa.

In case of blurt it is possible and i have done this in the past but sometimes i use to face delay in deposit and withdrawal due to which i Miss the opportunity.

I highly agree. I keep funds on multiple exchanges to take advantage. It isn't always possible as you say, ie with blurt the volume moving on ionomy isn't great but it is still possible.

Good day to you sir!
