Let me begin by saying, I love @afrog.
As somebody who is in close contact to somebody living in Ukraine, they will fight simply because their lives depend upon it. To quote something he said to me recently:
I always dreamed that I would work for charity. Instead, it looks like I will have to kill people.
Before continuing, it's important to note that I know where Ukraine is. I knew where Ukraine was before this war started. I know that Ukraine has been preparing for this war for much longer than the West were aware of what was happening. Did the all knowing double-u know this? I doubt it. He's clearly not as smart as he thinks he is otherwise he wouldn't be going around pissing everybody off.
As you already know, I've disagreed with his abuse of the platform since I joined. Correction: I've disagreed with his abuse of his platform since I joined. It's nice to see that others are now seeing what I saw on the day I registered and by speaking out against it shows true leadership which as patronising as this sounds, makes me proud.
Back to the Ukraine - Perhaps it's worth considering how such a small country is putting up such a strong defence... it's certainly not a fluke, or luck. Like I said, they've been preparing for this war since Russia annexed Crimea in 2014. They didn't fight then and who came to help? Who cared?
Ever since that happened, they've known that the events in the past week would happen. Putin has often spoken about his regret of the collapse of the Soviet Union so it's clear that Ukraine is the 1st step of a wider agenda. It would be naive to believe otherwise.
To think that Ukraine resigning will save lives is also naive. It will ruin the lives of millions of Ukrainians who have no desire to "be liberated" and this should be clear by the fact that they are fighting so bravely. Then who's next? Estonia? Then Latvia? They already "own" Belarus. World War 3 has begun and the world is slowly realising this.
I don't have the patience to read all of the comments nor the petty bickering. double-u and his cronies severely damaged my perception of Blurt when I joined to the extent that I didn't "commit" in the way that I'd planned to.
I'm rambling so I'll stop now by saying: @afrog's a legend.

But being offended, self-reproach and lamentation is useless. People fail. This is especially true in a setup where money is involved. Therefore, it should rather be considered how to avoid such traps. I think that the principle of an open discourse is a basic requirement to protect DPOS from avoidable wrong decisions. The problems and fortunes of a DPOS blockchain must not be negotiated in Discord backrooms. This is how you mix a democratic system with the private. There lies the poison of conspiracy, seduction and in the end the guaranteed crash of all dreams.

I already said in my other comment that you have been rejecting advice from me for months. How am I supposed to know you're going to make a killer drone post. When I saw your post I immediately commented there matter of factly. You could have edited your post since I gave you my opinion there. You left it unchanged though.
