Mantenerse informado implica un notable esfuerzo de análisis en defensa de la propia intelectualidad.

Nuestra propia intelectualidad necesita estar constantemente informada, de eso no hay duda alguna, y ha sido una praxis regular a través de toda la historia de la humanidad, aún cuando los medios de comunicación diferían mucho de los que hay en la actualidad.

Pero la base del pensamiento subsiste, es la misma y su evolución es constante y para ello debemos dedicarle un notable esfuerzo, tengamos en mente lo que tengamos, sea sobre lo que pasa en el mundo debemos analizarlo y no consumirlo cono uma simple noticia, ya se trate de física, matemáticas, astronomía, los deportes en general, la política, la economía, sobre lo que sea. La comprensión de la información, su análisi por simple que sea, no es gratis, entendiendo por gratuidad un concepto que implica obtener algo sin ningún esfuerzo, intelectual o material. Para todo ello se requiere tiempo y esfuerzo de voluntad.

Para un individuo determinado, podríamos definir la envergadura de este esfuerzo como algo que está terriblemente difícil de lograr y completamente imposible de obtener, pero que de ninguna manera niega la posibilidad de estar al alcance de cualquiera que sea parte de una comunidad que trabaja en equipo (y eso es cierto y demostrable para los otros casos también como por ejemplo esta Comunidad de #BLURT).

Keeping oneself informed implies a remarkable effort of analysis in defense of one's own intellectuality.

Our own intellectuality needs to be constantly informed, there is no doubt about that, and it has been a regular praxis throughout the history of mankind, even when the means of communication were very different from what they are today.

But the basis of thought subsists, it is the same and its evolution is constant and for that we must dedicate a remarkable effort, whatever we have in mind, whether it is about what is happening in the world we must analyze it and not consume it as a simple news, whether it is physics, mathematics, astronomy, sports in general, politics, economics, whatever. The understanding of information, its analysis, however simple it may be, is not free, understanding by free a concept that implies obtaining something without any effort, intellectual or material. For all this, time and effort of will are required.

For a given individual, we could define the scope of this effort as something that is terribly difficult to achieve and completely impossible to obtain, but that in no way denies the possibility of being available to anyone who is part of a community that works as a team (and that is true and demonstrable for other cases as well, such as this #BLURT).

Y en este punto radica la fuerza de las comunidades, verdadera piedra basilar en la construcción de cualquier plataforma de contenidos. Porque, en definitiva, el objeto es ese analizar los contenidos, interpretarlos y no consumirlos tal como los vemos publicados. Tratar de entender un concepto individualmente es generalmente mucho más difícil que hacerlo colectivamente porque cada uno de nosotros en su carácter de usuario, individuo lector, tiene como principal obstáculo la barrera de su propias creencias y convicciones (no sólo políticas dejemos ese tema para otro momento que ya está bastante desarrollado por la mayor parte de los medios). Y también es muy improbable que si seguimos actuando por cuenta propia, en decir individualmente, nunca lograremos superarlas.

Antes de seguir adelante quiero dejar sentado que cuando hablo de comunidades no hablo de las comunidad de #BLURT o de cualquier otra plataforma o red social. Estoy hablando de comunidades en el sentido de organización humana dentro de la sociedad, aquello que nos permite relacionarnos unos con otros y construir el concepto de sociedad global como asociación de individuos e instituciones en aras del bien común.

Muchos de los clásicos experimentos de psicología social han demostrado que muchas personas niegan hechos ciertos u ocultan lo que saben cuando advierten que otras personas -en quienes tienen razón para confiar- hacen lo mismo. Es, desde un punto de vista remoto, la estrategia que se usa en la actualidad con los famosos "influencers" cuyo objetivo principal no es seguías d einstrucción o lóderes intelectuales de ningún movimiento, sino redireccionar el o los consumos en una cierta dirección. Personas con las que nos sentimos -en algún modo identificados- actúan de este manera, niegan o afirman esto otro, por lo mi intelecto se condiciona a su modo de actuar y pensar y hago lo mismo.

No es algo nuevo y se aplicó por aquellos que pretendían demostrar que aquellos movimientos anticonformistas e irracionales debían ser abandonados como tales porque entrañaban una forma de pensar diferente. Los ejemplos abundan a lo largo de toda la historia, pero me viene a la menta la Contrareforma y la Santa Inquisición sin tratar con esta afirmación de entablar un debate teológico-religioso para lo cuál no solo no estoy preparado sino que carezco de los fundamentos para iniciarlo.

La famosa "toma de conciencia" de un determinado problema o acción nunca ha sido adoptada en forma individual sino que se ha consolidado grupalmente, bajo la forma de una organización para poder actuar.

Los medios de comunicación en toda su vastedad actual desde los más modernos hasta las revistas de opinión que aún subsisten en el mecado, y los numerosos expertos no son sino elementos que nos pueden permitir de penetrar el velo de la propaganda y de esta manera determinar si un tema es engañoso, doctrinalmente falso, tendenciosamente apócrifo o si, verdaderamente, está pasando algo más.

Y ello lo podemos analizar, desmenuzar y confrontarlo con otras opiniones al interno de una Comunidad, entendido como tal. Actualmente individualmente es muy probable que no lo logremos nunca.

Termina aquí mi primera contribución para #Humanitas un muy lindo proyecto del cuál veo que hace parte @acont como moderador, un estimado #BLURTIANS con el cuál intercambio opiniones sobre contenidos deportivos (ahora con otro nombre) desde hace bastante.

Understanding and analyzing a concept as an integral part of a community.

And in this point lies the strength of communities, true cornerstone in the construction of any content platform. Because, in the end, the object is to analyze the content, to interpret it and not to consume it as we see it published. Trying to understand a concept individually is generally much more difficult than doing it collectively because each one of us as a user, an individual reader, has as a main obstacle the barrier of his own beliefs and convictions (not only political ones, let's leave that topic for another time, which is already well developed by most of the media). And it is also very unlikely that if we continue to act on our own, that is to say individually, we will never manage to overcome them.

Before I go any further I want to make it clear that when I talk about communities I am not talking about #BLURT communities or any other platform or social network. I am talking about communities in the sense of human organization within society, that which allows us to relate to one another and build the concept of global society as an association of individuals and institutions for the common good.

Many of the classic experiments in social psychology have shown that many people deny true facts or hide what they know when they notice that other people - in whom they have reason to trust - do the same. This is, from a remote point of view, the strategy that is currently used with the famous "influencers" whose main objective is not to follow the intellectual leaders of any movement, but to redirect consumption in a certain direction. People with whom we feel -in some way identified- act in this way, deny or affirm this other, so my intellect is conditioned to their way of acting and thinking and I do the same.

It is not something new and it was applied by those who intended to demonstrate that those anti-conformist and irrational movements should be abandoned as such because they entailed a different way of thinking. Examples abound throughout history, but the Counter-Reformation and the Holy Inquisition come to mind without trying with this statement to engage in a theological-religious debate for which I am not only unprepared but lack the foundations to initiate.

The famous "awareness" of a certain problem or action has never been adopted individually but has been consolidated as a group, in the form of an organization in order to be able to act.

The media in all its current vastness, from the most modern to the opinion magazines that still exist in the market, and the numerous experts are nothing but elements that can allow us to penetrate the veil of propaganda and thus determine whether a subject is misleading, doctrinally false, tendentiously apocryphal or whether something else is really going on.

And this can be analyzed, broken down and confronted with other opinions within a Community, understood as such. At present, individually, it is very likely that we will never be able to do so.

Here ends my first contribution to #Humanitas, a very nice project of which I see that @acont is part as moderator, an esteemed #blurtians with whom I have been exchanging opinions on sports content (now under a different name) for quite some time.
