You were invited to a wedding party or probably a Little gathering, but you are worried you could mess things up at the table. Here are the tips to help you pull through.

Be cautious:

The sommelier has poured the wine at the restaurant, first thing you should do is pick up the glass,point it away from you and look into it make sure there are no debris, bright and clear. Do this because you just want to avoid food poisoning has much as possible. Having done that, what you might do is give him a look to show you know what you are doing.

Second thing is the nose. With two fingers, hold the Bas of the glass and give it a good swell. After that make sure you put your nose into the glass, keep note of the aroma and ensure you do not perceive vinegar, wet card board and nail polish remover, if you smell any of this politely request your the wine to be changed

Ready for the toast?:

You're asked to have a toast, pick up your glass by it's stem. Before you do so, take your napkin with both hands run your fingers to the tip and clean the corners of your mouth, place your napkin back, have your drink and you won't have any oily mark on the glass.

When we have cheers we don't want to cheers by the time or tip, it's the thinnest and most fragile part so, you might crack the glass. You cheers by the largest part of the cup, your goal is to hear the lovely bell sound.

In some countries in Asia the position of the glass is of upmost importance. While making cheers the person who is perhaps in a senior position in a company,or someone who ought to be given respect, their glass should be higher. You should never have the glass above them, but if they felt you needed to be respected more to avoid much trouble you bend your glass side ways.

After knowing all this you are good to go. But you might also want to know different types of cork and their uses, just in case of a table conversation right? There are three main types of cork;

Agglomerated cork:

It is a cork that brakes into bits and can be pressed, it would probably last six months.

Pure cork:

Pure cork is entirely made of cork

The last type of cork has both the pure cork and agglomerated cork features.

Now you are totally good to go for that dinner party
