I've always admired and been a big fan of Taylor Swift's music but right now, I have to gotta admit that I admire her brains and diligence that saved her from the $5 Billion law suit filed against all the celebrities who influenced and promoted FTX. So here's the incredible story of how Taylor Swift avoided this law suit. She got a really juicy offer of $100 million to promote FTX but declined it when she asked if she was promoting a registered or unregister security. According to Florida state law, promoting or endorsing an unregistered security is against the law even if no deception was involved and this was the reason why many celebrities were involved in the law suit filed under this law.

Taylor Swift turned down a whooping sum of $100 million, about one-sixth of her net worth bit I'm truly glad she did as it has obviously saved her reputation, and has saved her alot more money. Some probably thought she was delusional for turning down such a huge deal for something that probably didnt matter and for something everyone was doing, but it ended up being one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Tales like this makes me understand more that when you're being diligent and doing your own reseach only saves us from the stress, the trauma and promblems that may arise in the future. We necessarily don't have to follow the crowd unless we're also damn sure the crowd is indeed doing the right thing. Hopefully, many influencers have a thing or two to learn from this by doing their own research before promoting anything and only influencing or endorsing what they are sure of.
