Hii my blurt fam, good evening to one and all !
Hope you all had a great day 😃 but tell me honestly, how many of you didn't even start your day at all until u had your cup of tea/coffee ? Depending upon the person you are ! As we all humans have divided ourselves into our preferred category i.e. either tea or coffee person. We just cannot survive a day without it.
Cup of tea/coffee is a good morning text to self, a kick start in the tired evening, a welcoming gesture to guests and also as we consider it our traditional, Beloved and energy boosting start towards the day. 90% of the human population from all around the world doesn't even starts their day without having their cup of caffeine. Yes you read it right "caffein" . So what's this caffein now ? It's a chemical(a drug) present in enormous various drinks found around the world and most commonly in tea & coffee . It makes people addicted towards all the drinks it is present in. Hence depending upon what our taste buds choose, tea or coffee we get addicted towards it. But how good is daily consumption of this caffein to our overall health? and what other impacts does it has on our body? Let me put a light on it for you. Caffein directly acts upon our central nervous system (CNS) as soon as it enters into our body and hence we feel energetic and get back to our work thinking that there is a quick deposition of energy into our body, isn't it? But no this is not the truth. The fact is that just as a horse rider whips his horse to make it run faster whenever the horse gets slow out of tiredness after running for a long time this caffein also in the same way whips our brain to work more harder whenever we get tired and need rest. It's nothing but a painfull shock that pulls us away from the rest/ sleep we need and pushes us back towards our work. On both the horse's & human's body this whip will eventually lead to lots of pain and even more tiredness in the end of the day. It will require you a lot of rest to overcome this pain & tiredness but in today's compititive busy life we tend to work more and sleep less and to avoid this sleep we end up consuming more and more of these caffeinated drinks which not only have impacts on our nervous system but also are highly acidic, (coffee ranging from 4.8 to 5.1 pH where as tea ranges from 4.5 to 6) and consumption of such an acidic liquids on long run will irritate the smooth lining of our stomach and may lead to problems like frequent acid refluxes, nausea/ vomitting, bloating, heart burn.
It may also lead to various chronic health disorders that are serious and might be irreversible such as cardiovascular diseases, uric acid stone formations in kidney, Gastro Esophageal Acid Reflux(GERD), fatigue, and also whole blood becomes acidic leading to metabolic acidosis.
We all wants to safeguard ourselves from all such health issues and live a happy & healthy life. But how is it possible? I know that you might be feeling extremely dull after knowing the true facts of your most favourite beverage ☕ and it will be super hard to quite on them but don't feel so because am not asking you to quite or to eliminate something from your routine that you have been following since ages. I am just telling you how we can replace our daily unhealthy tea/ coffee into actual traditional drinks (as tea and coffee were never our traditions, they were just introduced in India by some means). The drinks which were highly nutritious and were used by our ancestors during wars & winters / summers are herbal teas means teas made with leaves of medicinal plants like mint, basil, lavender, ginger, rose, rosemary, ashwagandha, sarpagandha, carrom seeds tea & cinnamon tea etc. And for coffee lovers their is a thing called "coffee with no coffee powder" it's made without the use of coffee powder but tastes and functions exactly like coffee does.
These are the real energy boosting, and healthifying beverages that truly calms our body and provides mental relief & peace to the brain helping it work efficiently along with this they also have many more advantages to the human body. I will be sharing the full recipes of each of these beverages along with their medicinal benefits in my upcoming blogs so stay tuned with me to learn the way of healthy living............
