Apple's most expensive phones include the iPhone Pro and Pro Max. These models will be manufactured in India for the first time this year. Till now only iPhone was manufactured in India.
This information was revealed in a Bloomberg report on Tuesday.
According to analysts, this is going to be a new milestone for India and iPhone maker US company Foxconn Technology Group.
Apple may announce the launch of iPhone 16 in September.
Inauguration of Apple's first sales center in India
Foxconn will begin assembling the new model devices in India from then on, sources said. Thousands of workers have already started training to build the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max at Foxconn's factory in Tamil Nadu. Their aim is to start the same operations in India as soon as possible after starting production and marketing worldwide.
Since 2021, Apple has started activities towards local production. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to provide financial incentives to high-tech manufacturing in India helped Foxconn achieve this milestone.
Most iPhones are still manufactured in China. However, Foxconn is gradually trying to reduce its dependence on China.

Apple wants to reduce China-oriented production system.
There has been tension between Beijing and Washington for a long time. Mainly because of this, US businesses are reducing their dependence on China to reduce risk.
India accounted for 14 percent of global demand for iPhones, worth $1,400 million, till March of the current fiscal year. Like last year, Apple wants to bring the iPhone 16 made in India on the same day to the world as well as to the Indian market. However, the Pro and Pro Max may come a few days later.
Other Foxconn partners may also start making Pro model phones, the sources said. Among such organizations are India branch of Pegatron Corporation and Tata Group.
The iPhone Pro and Pro Max models feature larger batteries, advanced cameras, and titanium bodies than regular iPhones, and require specialized manufacturing capabilities to build them.
Representatives for Apple, Foxconn and Pegatron declined to comment. Tata was contacted but did not respond.

I use iPhone so I post any new news
I have an iPhone 12 pro max, it has been discussed why the iPhone camera has 12 megapixels. I get a little interested when I see an ad on iPhone or Apple. See what surprises the new phone brings.
