So I have a Blurt account

You may know me from Steem and Hive. It seems I get an airdrop of Blurt on this clone platform. How does it differ from the others? The trending page is mostly in Korean, but is there anything I am likely to want to look at? I am busy on Hive anyway.

I have started a power down. Why would I not?

I am watching with interest. I must admit I wasn't expecting much but the Discord is fairly busy at the moment. Not holding my breath as there have been so many failed forks but I hope to be proven wrong!

By the way have you tried our new game on Hive yet?

I notice you cannot downvote, so how will they deal with abuse? No 50/50 payout option either. It's all about community for me and I can only manage a few of those at a time.

i c it like this, blurt imho is an experiment so we can see what works and dont. hive is good, steem not so, twitter obviously hacked. here, trying no downvoting. work in progress, trying simple fee systems to pay for running the chain (no free lunches) . lets see how that pans out. if one dont like it, no worries dont use it, power down, sell your blurt at ionomy and go about ones life. it is voluntary

How do you deal with abuse without downvotes? I am waiting to see if Blurt offers anything of real value.

thats good, my take is that downvotes are in fact potentially abusive and produce conflict more so than anything positive. just mute the bloggers u dont like, problem solved. in addition i think that the new v small TX fees will help agains spam. there will be experiments, trials, tribulations, some will wait and c, some will not like, others may like this, others may act and/or produce (code and blocks), all this will play out over quite some time. nothing tried nothing gained. just my positive take

Hi SteevC

good to see yah here as well..

i can barely keep up on Hive tbh, but I think the idea of a non steemit infected chain..

What seems to be interesting is you get everything here but none of the old post or baggage..

Not sure how it will play out, though..

I don't really have time to engage with Blurt as well. I may just extract the tokens to sell so I can buy stuff I care about :)
