Blurt seems to suffer from lack of interest

When I see that the top trending posts mostly have less than 20 votes and hardly any comments it does not give me much hope. It looks like a few big accounts are supporting their friends and there is a lack of community.

I have to use my time where it gets the best value and that is not just about money. I want engagement. I get that on Hive. I will continue to power down my Blurt unless things change fast. I know it's early days, but I do not think the platform has enough to distinguish itself. I know lack of downvotes is attractive to some and the cost of posting will deter spam, but that is not enough for me. Hive has very little spam really.

Have fun.

Remember Blurt is only 2 months old and it suffered a huge setback regarding community when in the first week of launch it was effectively cock blocked from the start because no-one could post. There was a further week's wait while we implemented fees, we lost heaps of momentum but we are slowly getting it back.

Blurt is not a sprint it is an endurance race, BTC wasn't immediately popular in 2009, it took some time. Right now is a good time to consolidate and earn Blurt by posting rather than selling it for pennies.

it's up to you however, I personally think it could be worth the risk to hold it and see what happens in the future.

Well Hive is fairly new too, but a lot of the Steem community moved over. I think Blurt slipped under the radar and many people will not even realise they have an account. It's an interesting experiment, but it's going to have to find some way to get better known and show that it has something to offer. Good luck.

I am one of the lists in your screen capture. I am also the curator of blurtcn.

At that moment, it is the promotion period on blurt. So about 20 curator got 1M blurt power curator account. Each curator not only to vote some community post or topic, they also need to promote blurt. Our duty is to promote blurt to more chinese blogger not only on steem or hive. We also promote blurt to others blogger platform. Just a few day, we invite over 30 chinese bloggers come to blurt community.

We believe that When each community growth, the voting power will be equalizate to more community member or more topic.

On the other hand, each curator can have 2 full vote on himself. But I just got 50% vote on blurtcn. Because we want to give more upvote to other chinese blogger.

Well they need to do something to get real community going. It just looks artificial for now. Good luck

That’s awesome........ Hive people love Hive. That’s great. If you love Hive then you will stay there and that is awesome. People who don’t like Hive due to downvotes or being on a Secret Hive Blacklist for whatever reason can go to Blurt, or Steemit or Publish0x, Twitter, Uptrennd, Voice..... it’s a big Free World. People can go where they want. Stay happy, be Original ... Have fun.

There are other options, but Steem is a cesspit now and cannot be trusted. I love the people of Hive more than the platform. Community is vital. Maybe Blurt can build one, but it has a long way to go.

Yeah. Lots of a Hive whales still milking Steem.its kind of funny. Huge curation rewards over there.

I see Hive whales telling everyone on Hive to sell all their Steem and secretly collecting $1,000 of Steem every week with their secret Alt Accounts.

I see that one has big delegations from accounts I don't recognise. Can you identify any prominent Hive people who are backing it?

Several of the Hive whales have huge delegations on Steemit. They are earning thousands of Steem a day. I have no idea who these delegator are. They are usually 1 or 2 Steemit investors ??? No idea . But several Hive whales are making tons on Steemit.

I expect those people are profiting wherever they can with no care about the platforms. Are any top Hive witnesses doing this? I have no STEEM left now, so don't care much about it.

But you are 100% correct. Nobody cares.

Yes. A Top Witness on Hive is also a Top Curator on Steemit. Maybe they received a very large delegation from Justin Sun.
