I have seen a lot of posts regarding the modular learning and I must say that some of it are insulting the teachers or expressing their hatred towards the curriculum. Instead of spitting lewd comments in social media without really knowing the real situation, why don't we listen to both parties and assess it unbiasedly? To be honest, all of us do not want any of this. Everyone has their complaints. Students complain for not being privileged to buy their own gadgets for online classes, for the errors seen in modules, or for the insufficient time given to finish tasks. Teachers are stressed out as well, especially those who provide modules, because they have to follow correct procedures in making and disseminating them, but never did I hear them complain about it. Instead, their concerns are about the students who continuously mock them despite their efforts to help us learn. They're worried as well for the learning environment of the students that's why they want face-to-face classes instead of online or modular learning. No one wants this and we are still in the adjusting state. I know that this is hard—not only for me and you, but for all of us. Be mindful of what you say or what you're going to say. It's okay to complain so that they'll know the aspects they need to improve or what they're missing, but it's never okay to insult, degrade, nor badmouth someone. Remember that your words will either encourage or destroy people. We are all in this together. Let's just hope and pray for everything to go back to normal. Spread love.
