TO ALL THE BOYS I LOVED BEFORE

You made me smile, you made me happy... and you made me feel so alive. My cheeks would burn whenever you caught me off guard. The little devils in my stomach would go wild whenever you're near. You managed to set my heart in frenzy whenever I hear your name. The smiles you made me release were the sweetest. The laughters we shared were the most beautiful melody. And the memories..oh! They are not just kept in my mind but marked in my heart and in my soul... forever. You brought out the best in me and left me at my worst. You brought me to cloud nine but immediately drag me to hell. You made me feel important for a minute then left me hanging—broken in million pieces. You've hurt me in more ways than one. The bliss you made me feel was nothing but an illusion, falsified, and a mere fantasy that will never come true. I have always believed you were too high for my reach but it was the other way around. For I am located in the sky that coming down to Earth is everything but possible. We can never be together that's why you chose to gave up on me. You chose to let go just when I realized I love you so much. Just when I decided to fought for us—if us did really existed. You were the reason behind those sleepless nights when I cried myself to sleep but I never held you responsible—not even once. Know that I do not hate you for anything, for everything—I never did. I just placed myself in a melancholic state—asking myself where did I go wrong or was it even because of me. Worry not and fear nothing. You may be the reason for this scarred heart and soul, I will continue to embrace love if it decided to come my way again—no matter how painful it might hit me with. I learned my lesson. I figured out that I need to be careful in loving once more—that I should beware of those who are on Earth but love the stars along with me in the night sky instead. You are my almost, my what ifs, and my what could've beens but you've been also a part of me I didn't regret loving. I LOVED YOU.
