You'll should begin to bury that saying that " a true lover will hurt the feelings of others just to satisfy another lover ". Biko, which one is hurt and which one is feelings of others.
How on Earth does one go all outstretched to hurt other people's feelings just to make your boyfriend/girlfriend feel comfy. That's a total rubbish, picking thorns among flowers can be so painful, not to speak of when one is the actual thorn among other people's flowers.
It's not meant to be so, the fact that you're selfless doesn't mean you shouldn't be dedicated to your own self , it's so sure that you know those people whose feelings you hurt even before getting to know your babe. Going the extra mile to make other shed unnecessary tears which was caused by you, is sheer wickedness. You'll sit and watch your babe smile while those whose feelings you've shredded , cry.
Don't even try that with me or anyone close to me, I'm wondering how some people reason.
I still remember when I was on a wooing adventure, I was triggered by this lady's beauty and all that covers her whole body, I went with my best friend, so I'll not be so bored, although he wasn't with me when I began wooing her but he wasn't so far away from sight.
After all the talks , it ended with " I'll think about it", yeah, nice one , I uttered quietly in me, this was the exact reply I needed. While I was about leaving, she called me back and asked why my friend came with me , she went on ranting about the fact that it's wrong to come along with a friend to woo her . " Wow, like wow, you never told me, you're now the prettiest lady, that no one should come close to ! " I said in my heart.
I was just mute, I watched on , "so this is how demons are been unleashed, thanks to Zeus, she didn't accept my request". My silence was broken by the kind words of my male best friend, he calmed her down, confused her small head with a little touch of sarcasms and ironical words, which I know she wouldn't understand clearly.
When all was calm, I was glad the storm is over, hardly did I know it wasn't. This babe was leashing out abuses on my friend, calling him names and all, I watched on, for some minutes , I couldn't utter anything, when I found out that my silence weren't helping, I held her hands and calmed her down.
"Gid, so you'll defend your friend over me ? " She said with a tone that sounded like I betrayed her. From that moment, I was caught in between two different worlds ; my supposed babe to be and my best friend. It was hard picking it friend over her, but I chose the right person. I did the right thing.
I wouldn't let any lady who I have not in anyway received something big from to intimidate me or my friends. It's wrong, I so well believe that before that so called babe or boo, my friends are first. The perfect things to do in such cases is making sure there is a thick line of understanding which would last long, love that will not wax cold, feelings that will not falter.
It shouldn't be so close to satisfying your lover in the expense of hurting the people that are closer to you. If you're one of those many who would go all out to hurt my feelings and those of others in the expense of your lover, avoid me now Ohhh. Then, you won't know that not all sad memories are cured with love and most feelings can be so deceptive !
