I saw fireflies twice, first time was on the mountain's edge ner Toowoomba, these ones just blinked. But, and I forget exactly where, maybe central Serbia, not blinking but suddenly very bright and then it sprayed the glowing stuff like smoke and off it went.

Fireflies are an extraordinary creature I would say, I really like to watch fireflies, nowadays because of city life, hard to find them...
Just one of a million reasons I want to move to the mountains. I also want to see the Milky way clearly especially on new moon nights and when the moon and sun are down. To not see one bright light in the predawn fog with mountains dominating the horizon.
