I am not talking about you , I don't have a problem with you or with hive as an actual platform I have a problem with a small handful of people that essentially run the platform in a draconian way. I only ever got downvoted for defending others because I couldn't sit by and watch. It all actually began back in 2017 when I witnessed some of the founding members of what is OCD in a private group in steemit chat nuking small accounts and newbies for fun and taking the piss out of them, whilst pretending to help in the main chat. I don't know how I ended up in the private chat, some guy invited me there probably cause I was one of the only girls and I wish to god still I hadn't seen what I saw then and maybe I could have blindly enjoyed steemit for a few years without having off feelings about it from day one, those ppl just only grew in power and made things worse and worse, if the downvote was gone I would have no problem with hive. If any decent person had seen what I saw in those rooms they would not support those people or suck up to them either. One side in public another behind closed doors.
hive became an incredibly negative place to be and bought 0 joy so I had to make it so I would Never be tempted to log back in again and I have not and I feel 100000 times better for that decision, even if blurt or steemit went to 0.
