Banyak island is a sub-district of islands located in Indonesia, precisely located in the province of Aceh, in the western part of the country, 500 km northwest of Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

• Pulau Banyak adalah sebuah kecamatan berupa pulau-pulau yang terletak di Indonesia,tepatnya terletak di provinsi Aceh , di bagian barat negara, 500 km barat laut Jakarta, ibu kota negara Indonesia.

As the name implies, this archipelago includes many islands. Consisting of 99 large and small islands, almost all of the island groups in the Banyak Islands have white sandy beaches.

• Sesuai namanya, kepulauan ini meliputi banyak pulau. Terdiri dari 99 pulau besar dan kecil, hampir semua gugusan pulau di Kepulauan Banyak memiliki pantai berpasir putih.

There are 3 languages ​​spoken in these islands, namely Aneuk Jamee, Haloban and Nias languages. The Aneuk Jamee language is spoken by the Aneuk Jamee tribe. In addition, this language is the lingua franca for the three ethnic groups in this archipelago besides Indonesian. The Haloban language is spoken by the Haloban tribe, while the Nias language is spoken by the Nias people.

Selain itu bahasa ini adalah lingua franca bagi ketiga etnis di kepulauan ini selain Bahasa Indonesia. Bahasa Haloban dituturkan oleh suku Haloban sedangkan bahasa Nias dituturkan oleh suku Nias
