Thanks god I withdraw all my crypto from bittrex just a few days before the war. They wrote about a maintenance and that people have to update their verification and I moved all I had there to wallets. And now I don't have any crypto in any centralized exchange. Let them blocked them all for Russians if they want. I don't care. That's another motivation to never use them anymore, and I hope more people will understand that their funds are in danger if it's on a centralized exchange.
Binance seems refused to block regular Russian users, but they said that they will do an exception if the authorities ask them. But that's also not ok. It's interesting how Ukrainian politicians have such power in blocking regular citizens who have nothing to do with war. Crypto will lose some trust because of those exchangers who are playing games with politicians. I think the donations in crypto also will play a role. Because no one knows where those donations are really going.
I have suspicions that's exactly what discord were doing... and screwed it up while doing it!
Some people may have the "wrong IP" through some proxy. Here. the ISPs are so lame they often direct traffic via China.
