25,000 blurts light up more scholarship for vulnerable kids.
Introduction
There’s a popular adage that has it that ; some are born great
Some achieve greatness
Some have greatness thrown upon them . While this statement unarguably holds to be true universally ; it was even a better fact for kids in far Africa continent , in the country of Nigeria. Kids from the Benue valley , a hopeful group of not less than 20 received academic scholarships to pursue their academic desire . This was made possible through a 25,000 blurt transfer to rajitsear from the generosity of @condeas.
Announcing this scholarship offer after the Easter celebration, the community of selagi where am the pastor received this message with uncontrollable and unquantifiable joy . They praised the generosity of the donor and prayed huge blessings upon him .
The scholarship funds would assist in training the lads for 2 academic calendar . The selection of beneficiaries was done base on my close interaction with kids from disadvantageous homes ; people I have sufficient knowledge of their needs. They are indeed vulnerable kids in all standards . What would life have been , retorted a beneficiary’s Mother !
Today more than ever , we give thanks to the blurt family. I have come to cherish and admire the style of blurt . Blurt is simple ; blurt is humane , blurt is good .
Our little community was joyful . They couldn’t have been a better moment than this where hope revives a home .
We are certain that from this act would emerge , professionals of all kinds ; doctors , lawyers , scientist , researchers, Engineers and others
Wishing you a happy Easter celebration with your families .
I am very happy that @condeas followed my wish to give you a part of the money that was meant for our Uganda project.
The sad thing is that only because of the big fight here on Blurt these funds became free, because also @condeas as well as many other great people from the German community have left Blurt.
The school is very important and not affordable for many poor people both in Uganda and Nigeria.
We have also paid a lot of school fees in the last weeks, especially for children who are graduating this year.
Next month we will do that again and also pay the exam fees....@condeas thanks again for all....
Kind regards from Germany!
I truly feel sad that nothing could change their mind. I was so heartbroken 💔 that one serious strike and exchange got so bad beyond any remedy or repair , even when the rest of the members pleaded , it couldn’t be remedied .
How I wish things never got that bad . It’s a free decision and we ought to respect it .
I think of millions of street kids who would have benefited from their presence here . Well, it’s all in the past , but the scars are lot especially on very small accounts who would have grown faster with their assistance .
Am glad you are still here , you have always been my source of inspiration amongst others . I hope they still find a way to give that support to change a life .
Yes , I am grateful .
Yes, I am sad about it too.
We all put so much energy and money into Blurt.
It was never the intention of the German community to take over, to take away people's property rights or to be prescriptive.
We just wanted to protect Blurt and were worried that it would lose its spirit through upvote services.
Yes, it's sad for smaller accounts or new people,
because it was easy to become visible in the pub, meet new people and get important information.
I stay because of Uganda but lost my motivation,
to invest much time here...
