Living proof that body size doesn't matter

Above is a picture of a 35-year-old woman; Due to a genetic disorder known as osteogenesis imperfecta, she was able to reach a full body height of 28 inches (71 cm), making her the world's shortest woman to give birth, as certified by Guinness World Records.

If the doctors had told Stacey that she couldn't have children because of her size, anyone in their right mind would have thought that it was insane for someone her size to be unable to have children.
In 2007, Stacey defied the odds by giving birth to her first child, a girl named Katera Herald. Stacey was told by medical professionals that because of her small pelvis and body, the fetus would crush her lungs and heart if the fetus grew too large, and her children would have a 50/50 chance of genetic disorders. Kateri was of average height like her father (Stacey's husband), Wilgus Harold III of Dry Ridge, Kentucky (USA).

When people heard she was pregnant, they told her to abort the baby, but she said no, and she recalled one doctor telling her, “We're going to do it, we're going to give the baby the best medical care we can, you just have faith. Let's see what happens,” After seeing baby Katera, they realized they had both kept their end of the bargain.
People watching Stacey must have thought how could she be against them, but what they didn't see was that Stacey was defying the odds and she was beating them. She demonstrated this achievement by giving birth to her second child, Makya Herald, in 2008, and her last child, Malachi Herald, again in 2010.
After overcoming the seemingly impossible odds, Stacey lived a life she called size okay, despite being a 28-inch woman who actually gave birth to her three children. That he has wonderful children...
On August 29, 2018, at the age of 44, Stacey Herald passed away leaving her mark on this world.
