He was one of the primary investors at Blurt. His initial buy in was crucial when they started Blurt. I believe he said he invested 50k from his retirement account.

The founders were grateful, and as such he had an ear many didn't as they naturally wanted him to like it here.

He grew to take this for granted and when he began demanding drastic changes to the structure of Blurt and was told no he began forming posses against one of the co-founders who suddenly wasn't jumping through hoops anymore, because it involved the entire chain and not tweaking this feature or that.

He spent months in his weekly post that drew a lot of folks because of how large his upvotes were stirring anti foundation sentiment, mostly against one of the co-founders.

I made several posts along the way countering his positions yet not attacking him, just the position. He continued demanding features that would allow him to use his power to force others to wear a badge on their profile stating they didn't use VTS (vote trading services). They gave him that tool, and then he began his mob campaign to make as many as possible shun those who didn't put that badge on their profile page.

I wrote a kind of fuck you post to him and any who were of like mind on the shunning. While I wouldn't use VTS it isn't so black and white as he makes it. What made it even more hysterical in a bad way is this guy is self voting himself 2-6000 Blurt every single week while pretending the VTS people who are mostly averaging maybe 20-100 Blurt a day were being selfish. You can't make this shit up.

Finally after months of his bad mouthing in his weekly post, the co-founder finally hit back. Unfortunately there was collateral damage, including the person I had grown closest to here.

I've ascertained that the co-founder (megadrive) is better suited to programming and creating partnerships and such, and not so much in the area of conflict. So I kind of took it upon my shoulders (when he has been right which has been a lot of the time) to sort of run interference for him. Normally in ways that aren't so controversial as that isn't so much my way despite what you saw here with double-u. I believe that often if one is calm and matter of fact ones opponent (for lack of a better word) will often paint the picture in their responses better than I myself could.

I had to laugh at times when folks would get mad at me for intervening as though I were some yes man on the take as they overlooked the times I myself called the direction of Blurt into question. Here was my strongest rebuke of megadrive, and I was heartened that he was open to feedback after his initial proclamation and reversed course.

He has been continuously crucified by his initial proclamation, especially by truthers who weren't even here when it all happened and he changed his mind.

Conveniently for those opposing him, they all fail to see that in many decisions over time he has been open to discussion no matter how upset he has been and chose paths that were in conflict with his own desires. But as I said, his strong suit isn't dealing with a bunch of mobbed up assholes who are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him while refusing to acknowledge any of the maneuvers he has made to choose a good course.

So back to double-u now that I've given a little bit of background.

After he powered down his 6 million Blurt and was gone for awhile, he comes back spreading lies about the regent account winding down on 7/7.

He got a large mob (mostly the "high IQ" truthers) to run with these lies and was joined by two other whales, C-time and MMMKKKKK. Who began rewarding handsomely in upvotes all who would run with the anti narrative. What you saw there between myself and double-u was the winding down of that after the mob had mostly spun their energy for nothing.

If you grow bored I posted sporadically on all of this drama over time as it occurred in an attempt to be a voice of reason for wherever I saw the need. Not that I'm some barometer of the best path, lol. But I sure don't want to be led down paths where the minstrels are leading by angry arrogant (often lying) songs.
