Well done, very soon you will be a blurt whale.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind thoughts. It would be awesome to one day be a whale. It will take some doing, especially as I don't follow best practices for maximizing profits in these systems. I don't use autovoting as many do and find due to my limitations on time more often than not being on the tail end of the vote scale, as so many voted ahead of myself. I never mind, as I truly appreciate the idea of rewarding an author for work that captured my interest. Ironically I do believe that the maximize profit first approach is one of the handicaps that Steemit and then Hive perpetuate.

I quoted Deming earlier on another comment I made. His perceptions on quality have vast reach, one being that care taken now, while increasing the odds of forestalling immediate gains/profits can create a dynamic that overcompensates this over time as demand for such quality increases with awareness of consumers.

I took a look at your account. I see (using Google translate) that you use Hindi. I applaud your ability to use English. Not sure whether you use translate to do so, and if so thank you for making the effort to communicate with me. If you are using it as a second language I'm really impressed. I failed in a previous attempt to learn a second language (Spanish). Training ones mind to think differently must open up potentials many of us can't conceive. In Spanish, for example, I struggled with assigning genders to objects as well as sentence structures were reversed in many cases.

Awesome.... wow .... you will be a whale here in no time. Blurt is the best. You can earn a ton from Curation here. Much more than Hive or Steemit. It’s incredible. And nobody can downvote your hard work and take away what you have earned on your own posts. It took everything Great from Steemit or Hive and made it better. Blurt to the Moon.

Hahahah. Not sure about whale as I put all I have here now. But definitely curious to see how quickly I can move from here to Orca. I will get a better feel after a couple of weeks as I see payouts and assess costs associated with activity. I sometimes can be more of a curator/commenter than a poster. I remember when they were saying to post 3-4 times per day when I joined Steemit. I thought to myself not happening here, I'll be lucky to post a few times per week, lol.

I also try to spread my votes around, which isn't hard once one has fleshed out enough to follow that the personal feed has more posts than one has upvote power for.

You could talk to @megadrive on Discord about running a Blurt Curation Project. If you are an expert in a certain area he will create a New Blurt Account with 500,000 Blurt and you curate from there.... you can also upvote 2 of your posts per day as payment for your Curation services. It adds up... Are you on Discord ?

I'm a weird duck, probably due in part to my age. I don't do the Discord, and was amazed whenever others would push for me to join. I shy away from most social media, having closed my Fakebook account years ago. I skim Reddit, but don't have an account there anymore either.

Sadly I'm not really an expert on much, more of a jack of many trades. I also don't have time for that kind of curation. Sometimes I found in the past I couldn't find posts I wanted to upvote from my follow feed in the time I had to log in and would quickly skim through introduction posts and hand the votes off to newcomers. I remembered the few who welcomed me on my first day at Steemit and how it made me feel so decided that was the best place to throw them when lacking time. I sometimes wonder how many people came and left because no one ever acknowledged their post that got lost in the sea of posts. I digress though.

Thanks for the heads up about megadrive's curation project. If I see anyone follow me over who are suited for such responsibility I will mention this to them. :)

Yeah.... I was the same way on Steemit .... I was very happy to get so many upvotes from @roelandp @drakos @liberosist @kaylinart and others when I started out there ..... then on Hive it was @created and @livingfee who have also moved here to Blurt.

It’s those recurrent upvotes that keep people going.

These are the current Curation Projects (hashtags) going on Blurt ....

Recommended Tags (Only use tags specific to your content):

If you ask difficult questions on a Hive you will be downvoted to zero by the Top Witnesses. If you talk about any other crypto on Hive you will be downvoted. It’s crazy. Steemit has gotten a little better since all the Downvoting whales moved to Hive. But you earn nothing from your posts on Steemit.

On principle I had to leave Steem when Justin rode in declaring what he was doing and there was to be no discussion about it.

The downvotes that existed before he arrived and migrated to Hive is dark, for lack of a better word. I didn't get downvoted a lot, usually due to my support of someone who was targeted by the largest bully on Steem/Hive. Although he did nail my last post I did there. It was one I wrote where the rewards were set to another member who needed to raise money to make sure his niece stayed out of foster care. Asshole nerfed like 2/3rds of the rewards.

I didn't lose anything monetarily from that dick move, but it was the final straw for me. It's a sick environment when the most powerful accounts look for ways to wipe their asses on actions that hold real kindness to them. I never said a word though, as I know he gets off on all the people complaining. Just quietly began powering down while supporting the people who are decent there till it was at a dust level.

Speaking of dust level, does that exist here and if so, how many Blurt does it take not to be a dust vote. I've probably spent close to half of my votes on comments and have been concerned I'm throwing the votes away.

You can talk to @jacobgadikian or @megadrive about the dust and comment votes ... they want to fix any and all problems that happened on Steemit and Hive. They are really good guys. Salt of the earth who want to help everyone succeed. There is nothing like these guys on any other Blockchain in the Universe.

I absolutely agree with the evaluation you put comparing to the previous chains & Blurt is the best exit. Good to have you in this growing community.
Blurt On!

Thank you. I started getting curious when I saw it mentioned a few times on the other chain. By December I knew I was going to at least dip my toes in once the new year started.

Really liking what I see so far.
