Let's investigate Blurt's economy a bit further ...

So far I've only posted naked posts ... I mean ... without pictures 😉
However, given the fact I'm a photographer, this is absolutely against my principles and the chances this happens in my daily posting pattern are virtually nil.

But what does posting on Blurt actually cost ...
Only one way to discover that ... by posting this photo captioned: Where did my blurts go?

The photo is in black and white, so not that big in KB ...
The size is 2200px by 1469px .... I think it is a minimum to keep a certain level of quality ...
In my wallet, there were 7,359 liquid Blurts before posting this post ...

Let's see what this test/joke will cost ...😳😱🤪

The fee means, someone has to invest coins for the proper use of the blockchain. After the storm of stupidity on Steem and Hive, for me this fee-fact is a good prerequisite for quality on the blockchain.

URLs are like 32 bytes, not expensive. The text is more expensive relatively speaking. The reward is already many times more than the tx fee was.

Yes, today it is... but 3-4 days ago it wasn't and... totaly unrealistic. If it stays at the same levels as today, It's fair& I can live with it.
Thanks for passing by BTW 😉

I think in the end fee will be welcome. I to was fully against fees being a witness it made no sense. But the thing is cocks made even less sense and would ruin the platform as this same moron did this to smoke and it hurt the platform for a few months. Blurt tram got it under control in 2 days and guess what no more cock.

Maybe and forsure fees might not be long term but work great now.

I have no problem with a fee ... but with the amount of the fee. But honestly, this post is nothing like what I had to pay 3-4 days ago ...
So apparently the fees have gone down seriously ... which I can only applaud ... As it is now it's fair and I can live with it ... but I will continue to follow it up 😉

For small accounts the fees can be pretty massive. I am not sure if my vote value exceeds the vote fee, I am pretty sure a couple days ago it did not. If the fee is more than the vote value what point is there in voting? Comments are like post, there are fees for that also if they stay high what point in commenting, in being social?

If they continue with fees, a more balanced approach needs to be taken, and the fees should be based on the amount of staked Blurt Power one has. A flat fee of 0.050 for everyone is not really a fair tax on everyone. On some accounts that is nothing. I have a bout 2000 BP, and an account that has 20,000 BP pays the same fee. Do you think that 20,000 BP account would look at fees the same if they had to pay a fee of 0.500 instead of 0.050? They have ten times the BP as me so should they not pay the equivalent tax fee in percentage as I or you have to pay? How many 200,000 Blurt Power accounts would be willing to pay 5.00 blurt for every transaction they make?

I am glad to see the fee/tax come down, but the reality is it is not a fair system.
